Last night the scouts were out in teams on Old Down navigating between points and taking on challenges; creating art with found objects, solving a word puzzle at the maze, time trials at the assault course and creating a rap based on the information on the heritage notice board at the site of the Bronze Age burial mound.
It was a light and pleasant spring evening and the tasks were fun and the scouts enjoyed a little surreptitious playing in the park. At the end J performed his own rap about the heritage of the downs which was well received. It was not that he did it well, but that he did it at all!
